Snider Named Staff Attorney For The State Board Of Education
The North Carolina State Board of Education has hired Eric Snider as staff attorney to the board. SBE Chairman Bill Cobey made the announcement at the board's monthly meeting after the board voted unanimously to offer the position to Snider.
"Eric has a distinguished legal career and will be a great addition to our legal team," Cobey said. "I know I speak for the entire board when I say that we are all looking forward to having him in this crucial position."
Snider is currently an attorney with Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP in Raleigh. After graduating from the University of Kansas with distinction, Sider moved to North Carolina to teach special education at Louisburg High School (Franklin County Schools) through Teach For America. From there he attended the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he graduated with honors.
