House Education Working Group Discusses Child Nutrition, Connectivity, School Reopening Concerns

Members of the NC House Select Committee on COVID-19’s Education Working Group met this afternoon for their first meeting since the NC General Assembly reconvened for its short session on April 28. While the majority of legislators have not met since passing the first round of coronavirus relief in early May, Education Working Group members are continuing to discuss ongoing concerns for public schools, including school nutrition, school connectivity and homework gaps, as well as plans for reopening schools for the -2020-21 school year.
