    NCASBO is an Association comprised of dedicated personnel in all phases of responsibilities of the financial operations in the public schools across North Carolina.  We are finance officers, accounts payable personnel, purchasing officers, internal auditors, budget specialists, payroll personnel, system operators, fixed asset officers, Department of Public Instruction staff members, and many other positions responsible for safeguarding the funds of the public schools.  We are joined by business associates who are commercially interested in the field of school business management, and who support our mission and objectives.

    NC CASE represents your interests in all of those places where decisions are made daily about educating students with disabilities. We work closely with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction EC Division, the North Carolina Association of School Administrators, the National CASE organization and others to ensure that we are at the table and your voices are heard.     The North Carolina Association for Career Technical Education Administrators (NCACTEA) is the professional organization for North Carolina education administration associated with Career-Technical Education. NCACTEA unifies personnel and maintains active state leadership in initiating, expanding, improving, and promoting Career and Technical Education. Within the structure of NCACTE are different divisions of Career and Technical Education designed to embrace all those interested in Career and Technical Education in the state of North Carolina.     The North Carolina Pupil Transportation Association brings together those who are interested in the betterment of public school transportation in North Carolina. The association strives to incorporate higher standards in the operation and maintenance of school transportation and to aid in securing and maintaining professional improvements of its members.

    The association works to cooperate with the Parent Teachers Associations, local and State units of the North Carolina Education Association, and other educational and civic bodies having educational objectives and to aid in interpreting to the public the needs, problems, functions, and progress of public school transportation.

  • Personnel Administrators of North Carolina

    During the early 1970's, a group of trailblazing administrators, sought to form a professional organization that would address the needs of the school employee community throughout the state of North Carolina. Over the years, PANC members have worked with the General Assembly, the State Board of Education, local school districts, and were instrumential in the creation of the Department of Personnel Services within the Department of Public Instruction for the State of North Carolina.

    PANC's current mission is to serve the needs of human resources professionals by providing the most essential and comprehensive training and resources available. PANC promotes the HR profession to ensure it is recognized as a quintessential partner in developing and administering all tenets of the total school program. The organization does not require dues of its members, yet believes it is a state-wide investment for its membership to remain on the cutting edge of human resource issues.
