Anne Roth Strickland


Anne works daily to meet organizational goals, leads communications and marketing efforts and develops strategy to enhance the both the organziation and the services NCASA provides to our members and to the community. She brings with her a passion for nonprofit management and 15+ years of Communications experience, having served most recently as both the Director of Communications & Marketing for Louisburg College and the Assistant Director of Communications for the North Carolina Bar Association.

Anne is a graduate of the MS in Technical Communication program at NCSU, and is fascinated by communication, rhetoric and digital media and the ways in which the public both navigates technology and embraces change. She earned a BS in Communication from Appalachian State University and is currently pursuing her nonprofit management certificate at Duke University. 

Outside of the office, you can find Anne actively engaged in the community via the Junior League of Raleigh, where she is a former Vice President of Communications and Strategy and the 2016-2017 Member of the Year for her efforts in leading a visual rebranding campaign; the Caswell-Nash Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and securing America's future through better education for children whe she currently chairs two committes; the Big Kids Corp at Marbles Kids Museum where she enjoys helping children learn through play; and in service to the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill.

Anne lives in Garner with her husband Drew, two cats -- Ripley and (not so) Little -- and their dogs Beans Marie and Violet Schmiolet.
