Rationale: Today’s workforce responds to leaders who are knowledgeable, intuitive, flexible, inspirational, communicative and interact as coach/mentor models. Gone is the top down managerial hierarchy; today’s Twenty First Century Leaders work with their teams to provide vision and ownership as a contributing member of the family culture. The Leadership Institute offers powerful training and leadership seminars that focus on developing skill sets that helps participants become stronger, more confident leaders and managers.

Approach: We will provide an in-depth focus on pertinent educational topics, face to face contact with successful leaders in the specified areas and behind the scenes field experiences; all designed to help you create your own implementation strategy for modeling best practices based on the uniqueness of your school/district. We at NCASA agree with Peter Drucker: "Leadership can be learned." We believe that to create relevant, effective and powerful performance improvement our Institute must transform insight into performance and offer the opportunity to stretch leadership ability in a challenging but collegial environment.

Audience: The Leadership Institute is designed for administrators who are members of NCASA. Some sessions will be job-alike focused and others may be more generic.
